We can certainly assist with any accommodation or activity bookings you wish to make during your stay. We can also recommend quality tours and operators within the marina resort precinct and throughout the region who offer unique and engaging experiences.
Dinner reservations, hire car bookings, doctors appointments – we can assist with all your requirements. Please contact us during office hours.
Can I get assistance from someone to teach me how to sail? I just bought a new boat and have little experience?
Mainstay Sailing offer professionally run courses which will give you internationally recognised qualifications and increase your confidence. Please contact them directly or speak with our friendly Guest Services team for details.
I have never visited the Whitsundays before – what are your recommendations?
Come up and see us in the office, we are all long-term locals and have a wealth of information about the hidden-gems of the Whitsundays, which we will happily share with you.
We highly recommend purchasing the latest edition of the 100 Magic Miles by David Colfelt, which is considered the Whitsunday Islands go-to publication. Copies are available to purchase online prior to your visit, or you can one up from the marina chandlery, Quadrant Marine.
Have a look also at the Explore section of our website, which contains a wealth of information about the Great Barrier Reef, the Whitsunday Islands and the stunning Whitsunday mainland coast. There are also some suggested cruising itineraries that can give you a good idea of places to explore during your time in the Whitsundays.
Can someone look after my vessel whilst I am out of town?
Absolutely! Our Dockhands are able to visually check on your vessel each day on the dockwalk. We keep a close eye on the condition and position of lines, power supply to vessel, marine growth and general vessel condition.
We have CCTV cameras at the entrance of each arm and our Night Duty Supervisor walk the precinct throughout the night, ensuring safety for all.
Specialist contractors, who have completed our WHS Contractor Induction can also be permitted access to the site. With your permission you can leave your vessel keys at the marina office for contractors you have arranged. We must be advised in writing if you have arranged contractors to attend your vessel.
What happens if I arrive at the marina outside of office hours, can I still come in and berth?
All arrivals to the marina require a confirmed booking. We have a dedicated Night Duty Supervisor who is onsite after hours and will assist with the check-in process.
In the instance you will be arriving after hours our Night Duty Supervisor will be made aware of your estimated arrival time and berthing allocation so they can be down on the dock to assist with lines on arrival.
All private marina guests arriving after hours will receive the Night Duty Supervisor’s contact number, their berthing allocation and a marina map, via SMS, on the afternoon of their arrival to assist with a seamless arrival process.
The Night Duty Supervisor will greet private marina guests at their berth and supply access cards for use in our private amenities and security gates.
Do you have marine service providers within the village precinct?
We have a range of tenants in the marina offering mechanical, electrical, chandlery and diving services. For the full range of marine services available in the marina resort village, please visit Marine Services.
In addition, we have a range of quality independent contractors who have completed our WHS Contractor Induction Program and are permitted to carry out works within the marina precinct.

Can we get public transport from the marina around the Whitsundays?
Coral Sea Marina south village is a designated bus route. Buses depart every 30 – 45 minutes from our transport plaza and travel to either Shute Harbour, Whitsunday Plaza Shopping Centre or Proserpine.
Taxis are available for pick up at either the north or south marina villages. Please call 132 227 for the local taxi service and state which end of the marina (north roundabout or south marina) you require pick up from.
Do you have public laundry facilities?
There are laundry facilities available at Ocean Club (south marina) and in the north marina village (next to Ocean Rafting).
Ocean Club laundry is open with an marina access card from 6am – 9pm daily. The machines at Ocean Club are coin operated and a change machine is available for your convenience.
The laundry in the North marina village is open from 6am - 9pm daily and no access card is required. These machines have card payment facilities.
Where can we access WiFi?
Complimentary Wifi is available throughout the marina for marina guests. WiFi hotspots for your convenience are located at Ocean Club and The Lookout Lounge as well.

Are we able to refill gas bottles at the marina?
We have gas refill facilities in North and South marina villages. If you bring your bottle to the office in the morning, we guarantee it will be filled and available for collection at the gas refill facility by 4.30pm the same afternoon.
Gas bottles must be in date, as per Australian standards. We reserve the right not to fill any non-compliant bottles.
Gas refill charges apply and are charged by bottle size i.e. 4kg, 9kg etc. Charges can be settled at reception or added to your berthing invoice.
Can you arrange airport transfers for me?
We can arrange either shuttle bus, private car or a helicopter transfers for arriving and departing guests.

Are trolleys available for use at the marina?
We have trolleys available for our private marina guests 24hrs a day.
Please be aware not to overload a trolley beyond the weight limit suggested, for your own safety.
Do I have to pay to use the Courtesy Cars?
No, the concierge cars are a premium service available to all private marina guests as part of your berthing arrangements. We do require a pre-booking for the use of the cars.
We have three cars available for use in two-hour time slots. The Courtesy Cars are designed to allow customers to go shopping, access marine services or make appointments in the Airlie Beach and Cannonvale area.
The cars are not permitted to leave the Airlie Beach/ Cannonvale area for activity such as airport pick- ups or sightseeing trips. You are not permitted to carry fuel or other dangerous goods.
How do I access Ocean Club?
All private marina guests will have access to Ocean Club.
You can access Ocean Club with your marina access card. The sundeck and bathroom facilities are available 24hrs.
We ask that all guests be considerate of other Ocean Club users. Please clean up after using the BBQ facilities and use the bins provided. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities, guest Wifi, magazines and a book swap are provided for your enjoyment.
Where can I access change for the parking machines?
All our parking machines take credit card payments or you can download and pay via the EasyPark app.
Should you wish to pay cash and require change, this is available at the marina office, during office hours (8am – 4.30pm daily).
Where is better to fly into Proserpine or Hamilton Island?
The choice is certainly yours and both provide great regional airport options.
Transfer buses meet each flight arriving in to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast Airport) and transit to the marina is approximately 45 minutes.
We can also arrange private car transfers on request.
If you wish to arrive in style, we can organize a helicopter transfer to our private marina helipads, which will have you from the airport in 8 minutes.
Flight arrivals into Hamilton island require a ferry transfer into the Maritime Terminal in Airlie Beach and then a taxi/ bus transfer to Coral Sea Marina. Often you may experience delays with the ferry transfers as the transfer company waits for additional flight guests to arrive before departing for the mainland.
Can I have mail delivered to the marina during my stay?
If your vessel is booked into the marina, we accept small parcels and letters on your behalf.
You will receive a call or SMS to advise the item is available at the office to collect.
For large parcels, speak directly with the Guest Services team prior to arranging delivery as storage space can be limited.
Where is the closest supermarket?
We have a Woolworths in central Airlie Beach, which is a short 15-minute stroll along the boardwalk.
Coles and a larger Woolworths are both located in nearby Cannonvale.
We have a fleet of courtesy cars, which you can book in two-hour time slots, so you can access these supermarkets with ease. Speak with the friendly customer service team.
Do I need to book to refuel?
Between 8.00am – 4.30pm a fuel booking is required, due to the high volume of commercial vessels who fuel and are restricted by an operational schedule. Please contact the office on 07 4946 2400 for bookings.
Outside office hours you can utilize our 24 fueling facility with our at the bowser credit card payment option.
