If you have limited time in Airlie Beach and are looking for a fantastic day tour to experience the Whitsunday islands, then there are plenty to choose from. Most day tours will offer time at Whitehaven Beach, as well as an opportunity for some great snorkeling and in some cases a relaxing bushwalk through tropical rainforest.
There are sailing vessels, speed boats and ferries to choose from, most provide catering and pick up from your accommodation. All have incredibly passionate guides who can tell you everything and anything there is to know about the region and the locations you will visit.
If you are a romantic at heart, then a sunset cruise out on the Whitsunday waters is a wonderful way to spend time with your loved one. Even the non-romantics would find it hard not to be swept up in the cool breeze, vivid sky and sparkling water that a sunset cruise would offer.

To dive the iconic Great Barrier Reef is one of life’s bucket list experiences and you can do it right here from Coral Sea Marina Resort. Explore underwater coral gardens, majestic manta rays and abundant fish life as selected dive sites across the Whitsundays and at the outer reef.
Diving is available for novices and experienced divers. All operators will require evidence of dive licenses (if applicable) – speak directly to the operator for details.
If you want to spend a couple of hours fishing, exploring mainland beaches or cruising out to one of the closer islands, then you can hire a small boat to make this happen. For some boats you will require a valid boat license, for others you don’t – speak with the individual operators about their requirements.
Available for half and full day hire, this is a great way to set out on your own Whitsunday adventure and see what is out on the water. Bring your own food, beverages, cameras etc. and make memories of your own.

Airlie Beach Park Run takes place from Coral Sea Marina Resort every Saturday morning. Participants meet outside Bohemian Raw Cafe in the south marina resort village at 7am and complete a track which runs along the boardwalk with an incredible Whitsunday backdrop.
Taking place every Thursday at 5:30pm, we welcome you to join us for Sunset Yoga. Taking place at Meeting Point D, south marina resort village, this class is suitable for all levels of fitness and experience. $5 cash to the instructor. Bring your own towel, mat and water. Namaste!
Three times per week, we have Pilates sessions available at the marina resort. Wednesday at 5:30pm at Meeting Point C, then Sunday mornings at 7am and 8am, there are classes on the balcony at Lure. Focused on strength and resistance, the classes are suitable to all. $5 cash to the instructor. Bring your own towel, mat and water
Outdoor Boxing for Fitness
With stunning views back over the marina, Outdoor Boxing classes take place every Tuesday at 5:45pm. Meet at the marina resort Gardens, close to Meeting Point D for an intensive workout with like-minded people. All abilities welcome the session will be tailored to your fitness level. $7 cash to the instructor and bring water!
