Operating from Coral Sea Marina Resort, adventure travel operator Explore Whitsundays announced this week the addition of their newest vessel into the fleet. With a strong market presence in the overnight sailing adventure market, Explore Whitsundays have branched into the day charter market with their custom design catamaran Whitsunday Bullet.
After 12 months in planning and construction Explore Whitsundays is proud to introduce “Whitsunday Bullet”, which will commence tours of the Whitsunday Islands at the end of January 2017. Whitsunday Bullet is 14 metres in length, 5.5 metres wide, seats a maximum of 42 passengers, has 3 crew and can cruise at 25 knots.
The vessel features:
– comfortable seats with seatbelts,
– a full sized toilet and washroom,
– a covered roof to provide guests with shade,
– forward loading walkway to make it easy and safe for guests to access the beach, and
– a separate tender to perform guest snorkeling watch and guest transfers.

Designed by Naval Architects ‘One2Three’, Whitsunday Bullet is built to high speed specification including sound bilge catamaran demi-hulls, which cut through the water like a knife and bring the vessel to plane efficiently.
