Mackay and Whitsundays Police visited Coral Sea Marina on the weekend as part of their ‘Mobile Police Beat’ program.
With police cars, a water police vessel and a first response vehicle on display, officers were available to say hello to the local community and listen to their concerns, give feedback and provide crime prevention strategies and material to local residents.
The Mobile Police Beat program is part of the Queensland Police Service, which aims to actively engage with community members, respond to community concerns, and to provide immediate access to police.
