It’s that time of the year again and with summer just around the corner, it is important to ensure you are up to date with best practices for dealing with any weather event in a marine environment.
This year, the Coral Sea Academy is holding Extreme Weather Preparedness seminars where all marina guests and operators are invited to learn more about the marina’s extreme weather event preparation and how to help minimize unnecessary risk or damage.
There will be two seminars held over two different dates. Select one to attend:
- Monday 22nd November – 5pm – 7pm at The Meeting Space / Lookout Lounge
- Thursday 25th November – 10am – 12pm at The Meeting Space / Lookout Lounge
Please email email@example.com to register your attendance. All are welcome.
You will also find our updated “Extreme Weather Vessel Preparation” procedure by clicking here. This guide has been developed for your safety and that of your vessel and includes recommendations to take into consideration when preparing for strong winds or a weather event.
Please remember, in the event of extreme weather, your preparedness can go a long way in reducing harm to yourself, your vessel and also the marina infrastructure.
