Coral Sea Marina wishes to reassure everyone that we take the current COVID-19 situation very seriously and are taking precautions to help protect all that visit or work at the marina.
Although restrictions are being eased, there is still a risk of further spread or outbreaks of the disease, and due to this Coral Sea Marina has created and implemented a COVID-19 Safe Plan and COVID-19 Cleaning Schedule to protect the health of all that share our marina site.
To successfully identify and actively prevent any potential spread of COVID-19, Coral Sea Marina will be screening arriving guests in the way of a short questionnaire prior to arrival to assist with identifying any potential cases, a process recommended to all commercial operations operating within the marina. Coral Sea Marina also closely monitor the health of their staff to minimise potential spread of COVID-19.
Due to the complexity of the marina, any guests displaying symptoms consistent with COVID-19 will be advised to remain on their vessel and self-isolate, contact the marina office to inform us of the situation and seek medical advice by calling 13 HEALTH if displaying any symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
To help protect our staff and others within the marina, if you are displaying any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, we request you to self-isolate at home and seek medical advice. It is asked that any guests required to self-isolate on their vessel to inform the marina office with any mandate isolation/quarantine directions to allow our staff to assist, where possible and safe to do so, to ensure that you are able to follow this direction.
Coral Sea Marina is a COVID Clean accredited business and has a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness. Our cleaning regime has been further enhanced with a special focus on preventing the spread of any viruses. Based on advice from government health departments and the World Health Organisation, Coral Sea Marina undertakes regular cleaning and disinfecting throughout the marina including common areas such as Ocean Club and Business Centre, Meeting Areas and amenities. Further to this, hand sanitising stations have been set up for use in marina offices and trolley compounds. All amenities provide hand washing stations accompanied by posters promoting safe hygiene and social distancing within the marina.
To raise awareness and encourage good hygiene practices and social distancing on site, Coral Sea Marina has implemented capacity limits within enclosed common areas, such as Ocean Club, Lookout and marina reception areas. Signage has been put in place in meeting areas and common areas encouraging safe hygiene and social distancing.
