Coral Sea Marina Resort were delighted to host a superyacht famil trip in May 2018, with the vision to shine a glowing light on the Great Barrier Reef. In conjunction with Superyacht Group Great Barrier Reef, delegates from around the world were treated to a range of experiences from the rainforest to the reef, which showcased the cruising potential of our region to the international superyacht industry.
Seven delegates from media to superyacht charter brokers and tourism industry experts were hosted for 5 days from Port Douglas to Airlie Beach. Sophia Wilson (Boat International), Susan Harris (Denison Yachts), Coriandre Bredin (Seal Superyachts), Carmen Stratton (Camper & Nicholson), Courtney Barry (Tourism Australia), Karen Fitzgerald (Tourism Australia) and MaryAnne Edwards (Superyacht Australia) joined representatives from Coral Sea Marina Resort and Hamilton Island as the magic of the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef was showcased on the global scale.
