Whitsunday Police are preparing for the Whitsunday Emergency Services Field Day on Saturday July 30 at the Coral Sea Marina.
The event which runs from 8am until midday is the second year Whitsunday Police have organised an Emergency Services Field day for the community.
The event showcases Emergency Services in the Whitsundays and gives them a chance to connect with their local community.
This year there has been some changes with the event being held in a new venue at the beautiful Coral Sea Marina and a program of events for the morning.
This year the community can expect to see Queensland Police Highway Patrol, Dog Squad, PCYC, General Duties Officers, Crime Prevention Unit, Recruiting and Water Police in attendance.
Also attending will be Queensland Ambulance Service, Queensland Fire and Rescue, Rural Fires Service, Australian Defence Force, Marine Safety Queensland, Volunteer Marine Rescue, Claytons Towing, Whitsunday Council Disaster Management, SES and Central Queensland Rescue.
Food stalls will be available.
Whitsunday Police look forward to seeing the Whitsunday Community at the event.
